He is currently serving as a Rawls College Ambassador and is also involved with the Rawls Business Leadership Program, Tech Supply Chain Association and Delta Sigma Pi. He is expected to graduate this spring. Learn why he loves the Rawls College in the Q&A below.
What do you love about the Rawls College of Business?
What I love most about the Rawls College, is the abundance of resources and organizations dedicated to advance student’s careers. From the Career Management Center to the Center for Global Engagement, there are always opportunities available to gain experience and exposure. I found my internships and full-time position by frequently attending events like the Rawls Career Expo. As a senior set on graduation, opportunities like that are indispensable.
Why did you decide to be a Rawls ambassador?
I decided to become a Rawls Ambassador because of how the organization is empowered to positively affect the college through networking and recruiting events. All of our members are truly invested and recognize the opportunity we have to give back to the college. Becoming an Ambassador has helped me form significant relationships with alumni, faculty and other students.
Do you have any advice for new students coming into the Rawls College of Business?
I think new students should become as involved as possible with the number of organizations at the Rawls. There are always opportunities to enrich your network and meet driven, like-minded people. I have found that all the organizations I have joined have pushed me to work harder and achieve my goals. Do not be afraid to speak up and put yourself out there!
