On February 28, Pioneer Natural Resources sponsored the monthly Tech Supply Chain Association meeting. Dinner was provided for the students, while managers from Pioneer presented information about various types of supply chain opportunities in the oil and gas industry. They also provided information about the prestigious internship program that they offer. Pioneer Natural Resources is a great investor in the supply chain program at the Rawls College. TSCA is thankful for their support, and look forward to continuing to grow the partnership in the future.
“The TTU Supply Chain Management Department produces intensely driven and highly educated professionals ready to bring profitable transformations to our company. Their ethical approach and friendly temperament is really encouraging during the internship and full-time hiring processes, and we know we will enjoy working side by side with them,” Thomas Hodges, supervisor for Procurement and Logistics at Pioneer in Midland, said.
“I had a great time meeting and speaking with the TSCA students! They were very welcoming, and expressed a genuine interest in how supply chain works in the oil & gas industry. I’m excited that the Rawls College of Business has added the Supply Chain Management major and we look forward to continuing our recruiting efforts through this program,” Imelda Emerson, process planning manager for Pioneer, said.
